Annual Awards Banquet

 

Held in February each year.


 

 

CSC Awards:

 

Outstanding Achievement: (Trophy)

Awarded to the top point winner in the Club for skating previous calendar year.

 

DeLio Award: (Trophy)

Chosen by the coaches – enthusiasm -  given to a skater who displays tremendous work ethic and good attitude in all aspects of skating

 

Doug Goss Award: (Plaque)

Outstanding Volunteer Award determined by CSC board in honor of one of CSC finest volunteer.

 

Junior Volunteer of the Year Award:

Awarded to the junior member selected by the CSC board who has made a significant contribution to the club.

 

Achievement Award in each Level: (Trophy)

The top point winner of each level.  (i.e. Preliminary Ladies, Juvenile Pairs, etc)

 

National/Sectional Awards: (Trophy):

Awarded to Sectional, National and Jr National competitors’.

 

Certificates:

Each skater who earns points during the year and completes the awards form receives a certificate.

 

Synchro Team Recognition Award: (Trophy)

Synchro team coaches recognize one skater from each team.

For all Awards connected to Award Points:

Forms will be posted on the website, as well as having them posted on the club bulletin board. A mailing will go out between approximately one month prior to the banquet date for attendance and a reminder to turn in their completed forms by stated deadline. Information will be included in the Newsletter, in the event we no longer have a newsletter forms will need to be mailed out to members.

Awards Point sheets will be sent to the Board of Directors, Post Office Box. The Banquet Committee and two board members will review, tabulate and calculate all points by given deadline which is at least two weeks prior to the event. Cutoff date for submission will be stated on the form and will be at least 2 weeks prior to event. (Late forms will not be accepted.)
